A 42-year-old man who refuses to date ‘ugly women’ because he knows that he can get ‘reasonable women’ has received a response online.

Kevin, a single dad from Scotland, has made headlines after saying that he doesn’t want to go out with ‘ugly women.’

The father admitted that he has experienced the highs and lows of relationships and he doesn’t want to go through that again.

In an interview with the Sun, Kevin said: “I’m not into ugly women. I’m not saying I’m Brad Pitt, but I know I can pull reasonable women. It does make it harder to find someone if you’re only going for the high-end appearance.

“Your work is going to be a lot harder, and loads of other men are probably going to be after them. But I’m just not willing to settle for second best. I realize I could be on my own for a long time.”

His search has proved to be challenging but he doesn’t want to compromise his standards.

“I’ve lowered my standards before,” he explained. “I never enjoyed it. I’ll not be doing it again.”

Kevin said that finding the right woman is a ‘real thing.’ “I’ve never met that person. I hope I do,” he added.

Women were shocked by Kevin’s remarks and many took to social media to share their thoughts.

One person wrote: “On behalf of us average looking women, I thank you that you won’t look twice at us.”

Another wrote: “Delighted to come here as an average looking woman and declare myself safe from his clutches.”

A third said: “Yeah I’d happily mark myself safe from this guy.”
