Planning a proposal can be difficult as you can’t be one hundred percent sure whether the person you want to spend the rest of your life with is also feeling the same thing for you.
It can be a beautiful moment but when it goes horribly, it can be very heartbreaking and also embarrassing.
One man who proposed to a woman in a busy McDonald’s has gone viral after he got savagely rejected in front of other customers.
It is safe to say that the woman in the video was not lovin’ it as she can be seen looking at a McDonald’s crew in disbelief before looking back to her boyfriend who was kneeling in front of her.
People around them can be heard cheering for them, trying to get the woman to say yes.
However, the woman simply shook her head and it seemed like she wasn’t having any of it. She then stormed out of the restaurant and left the man embarrassed.
The video, which was taken at a McDonald’s branch in Johannesburg, South Africa, has gained more than 3.7 million views.
The original post shared on Twitter read: “Witnessed such a sad situation today yoh.”
Many people responded to the clip, with many suggesting that the boyfriend should’ve chosen a more romantic location.
One person commented: “He thought to himself, ‘What would be the most romantic proposal?’ McDonald’s line next to a trolley of groceries.”
Another wrote: “If a man proposes to me in a McDonald’s I’d just pass out because no way you thought this was the ideal way to propose to me, no f***in way!”
An eagled-eyed person added: “And why is this man already wearing a wedding band?”
