He went on to explain that his girlfriend uses contacts and that she apparently throws them over the headboard instead of disposing of them properly when she’s done with them.

“My significant other throws her daily contacts behind the headboard of our bed,” the stunned man wrote along the picture showing hundreds of discarded lenses.

“I just don’t get this. My house isn’t perfect by any means. I put off vacuuming and dusting and scrubbing toilets. But stuff like this just adds madness to the mayhem,” someone said.

“It’s so easy to just throw them in the bathroom trashcan when you’re brushing your teeth or taking off your makeup or using the restroom.”

“I was going to say she can throw them in the bathroom trash while brushing her teeth before bed, but she probably doesn’t do that either,” another added.

A third wrote: “People like this blow my mind. Like where do you think it’s gonna go? Clean that s**t up.”

While the habit was branded as disgusting by most, others also admitted to having experience in hoarding used contact lenses.

“My ex-roommate did this. Left them on the coffee table, counter tops, everywhere,” someone claimed.
