JUST IN: Madonna, 64, Says The WORLD Is ‘Threatened’ By Her ‘Intelligence, Power, Stamina And My Will To Survive’


Madonna has taken to social media and claimed that the world is threatened by her intelligence and power.

The Material Girl hitmaker attended the Grammys on Sunday night to introduce Sam Smith and Kim Petras before their fiery performance of their single ‘Unholy.’

“Are you ready for a little controversy?” she asked the crowd, adding: “Here’s what I’ve learned after four decades in music. If they call you shocking, scandalous, troublesome, problematic, provocative, or dangerous, you are definitely onto something.”

But viewers were quick to scrutinize her appearance, prompting the singer to post a statement on Instagram.

Addressing critics, Madonna wrote: “Many people chose to only talk about Close-up photos of me Taken with a long lens camera By a press photographer that Would distort anyone’s face!!”

“Once again I am caught in the glare of ageism and misogyny That permeates the world we live in,” she went on.

“A world that refuses to celebrate women past the age of 45 And feels the need to punish her If she continues to be strong-willed, hard-working, and adventurous.”

The Pop Queen said that the media degraded her since the beginning of her career but she said that she’s happy to do the trailblazing so women behind her can have it easier in the future.

“In the words of Beyonce ‘You won’t break my soul,’” she added.

Two days later, the singer took to Twitter and claimed: “The world is threatened by my power and my stamina. My intelligence and my will to survive. But they will never break me this is all the test.”

Fans replied to her tweet, with one saying: “You are EVERYTHING M! You are Mother. you are THE blue print. The real ones respect your message. You are beauty and strength. Thank you for ALL you’ve done and continue to do. Much love!!!”
