Netflix’s Love Is Blind dropped a deleted scene after Zanab Jaffrey accused her ex-fiance Cole Barnett of body-shaming.
Things were tense between exes at the season 3 reunion as Zanab and Nancy Rodriguez called out their former partners, Cole and Bartise Bowden, when the group gathered for the special episode.
After saying ‘I don’t’ at the altar, Zanab made serious allegations about Cole that didn’t make it on the series.
Alexa Alfia said there were many things happened off camera and Raven Ross also brought up the ‘body-shaming.’
“Wait, what? I got a girl’s number at the bachelor party?” Cole asked as he denied the story but Zanab insisted that it was him who told her about it.
“You’re the one who told me that the night before our wedding. I saw you before the wedding and you told me. You said, ‘I do have something to tell you. I tried to kiss a girl at the bachelor party.’ You said, ‘I’m engaged to get married and I just want to kiss one more girl,’” Zanab said.
While Cole explained that the men did not see any women at the bachelor party, Brennon Lemieux and Nancy said that the guys indeed went somewhere else after the cameras stopped rolling.
Zanab then called it Cole’s ‘saving grace’ that many of their scenes were cut.
“The pushing food away from me, the asking me if I’m going to eat that, trying to get me to order a salad, the daily comments about my face and my body were not used,” she recalled.
“And that’s great because it really did protect you and you are now denying it and calling me a liar in front of all these people.”
After sharing the ‘cuties’ story, Netflix dropped the unaired footage of Cole asking Zanab if she was going to eat two clementies before their dinner reservation.
“That’s a serving, are you okay with that?” Zanab asked, to which Cole responded: “You better save your (appetite)… I’m talking (big) supper tonight.”
Cole was also left confused when she said she only ate a banana. “Oh, are you getting wedding dress bod?”
Zanab then said: “Something like that.”
One viewer commented: “Netflix is savage wit the clip at the end of the reunion. Love it.”
Another wrote: “I feel so horrible for the way he broke down in tears. He was vindicated by the clip at the end, and karma is gonna get her.”
A third said: “Yes, there are times Cole inserted his foot in his mouth but you can see she really broke him – at the altar and after. I think Cole is a great guy and Zanab needs constant validation and that’s not his problem to fix. To say a prayer at the beginning of their wedding then total berate him in a room full of people was awful of her.”
