Lady Gaga is reportedly being sued by the woman who returned her stolen dogs as the singer refused to pay her advertised reward.

It was in February 2021 when the ‘Poker Face’ hitmaker announced a $500,000 reward for the return of her two French bulldogs, Gustav and Koji, after they were stolen at gunpoint from her dog walker.

Two months later, police arrested five people in connection to the robbery, including Jennifer McBride – the dog snatchers’ accomplice who returned the pooches.

After McBride returned the dogs, police found out that she was dating the father of the men responsible for the incident.

McBride now claims that she returned the pups to the singer at the LAPD Olympic Community Station on February 26, 2021 – two days after they were snatched.

According to LA County Deputy District Attorney Michele Hanisee, McBride knew that the dogs were stolen when she turned them in.

She also knew the men involved in the robbery for years and her motive was to get the cash reward.

McBride was then charged after being an accessory to the crime and receiving stolen property.

The Los Angeles Times reported that she pled no contest to one count of receiving stolen property and was hit two years.

It was also revealed that McBride wanted more than $500,000 and is now seeking damages of $1.5 million from Lady Gaga for allegedly posting the misleading reward.

She alleged that she did not get the reward and that the singer ‘defrauded’ her ‘by making a promise without intent to perform.’

The lawsuit, obtained by BuzzFeed News, also contended that McBride has suffered pain, mental anguish, and lack of enjoyment of life because she did not receive the reward.
