Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott have officially changed the name of their 20-month-old son after filing the documents earlier this year.
Their child was originally named Wolfe Jacques Webster but the couple said the name did not ‘feel like him’ so they opted for Aire Webster.
This comes after the Kyle Cosmetics founder announced their intention to change their son’s name. in the legal filing, they expressed their regrets regarding their first name choice.
“Now that Petitioners have had the chance to spend time with their baby, they believe the name Aire Webster is a better fit,” the filing stated.
In the documents obtained by TMZ, their child’s new name has been granted and signed by a judge.
It was in February last year when Kyle announced the news of the birth of their second child. Shortly after her son was born, she took to Instagram and revealed the name: “Wolf Webster.”
But only a month later, she told her followers that the name didn’t suit her son.
“FYI our son’s name isn’t wolf anymore (laughing emoji),” she wrote. “We just really didn’t feel like it was him. Just wanted to share because I keep seeing Wolf everywhere.”
In a September 2022 episode of The Kardashians, Kylie opened up about her decision to change her son’s name.
Speaking to her mom Kris, she said: “We really didn’t have a name. We thought it was going to come to us when we saw him and it didn’t. Then 24 hours before we had to sign the birth certificate – or else they register him without a name – so I felt the pressure to choose a name.”
Kylie continued: “Khloé suggested Wolf, and I liked the WW. So we put Wolf Webster in that moment, and right after I signed the birth certificate, I was like, ‘What did I just do?’”
Her son’s new name, Aire, means ‘Lion of God’ in Hebrew.
