Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard were ‘kicked out’ of the airport after they bought $600 worth of pillows and sheets to sleep on the floor due to a seven-hour delay.
After their flight was pushed back, the couple told her Instagram followers that they created makeshift beds on the floor of their gate.
She captioned her photo: “Stranded at the Boston airport, 9 hours of delays.”
As they prepared to take a rest and settle in for the night, Bell took a selfie of herself and wrote: “We made quite a home here.”
They said that they searched for any nearby hotels but Shepard explained that there were no vacancies.
“Could have been a really nice hotel, but they’re all taken,” he said of the money they spent on blankets, pillows and toothbrushes.
“It’s $600 a night to stay at Boston International Airport,” Bell added.
While waiting for their flight, her children Lincoln, 10, and Delta, 8, played Uno cards.
But the couple later revealed that they were ‘kicked out’ with nowhere to go after Shepard took his ‘sleeping aids.’
“Thankfully we found friends of friends who offered us their attics and accepted us at 1 am!!!!!!” Bell said in an update.
Some of their fans questioned why the couple didn’t just ‘pay for the family to go to the Delta Lounge or American Express Lounge.’
Many people also praised the family, with one person writing: “Still so down to earth and did not display a classic Karen attitude.”
Another said: “I love that you guys are just normal f***ing people.”
A third said: “The cleaning Crew at Midnight usually kicks people from one potion to clean it then once its clean they allow them back and then they clean another potion. I see it all the time with Layovers.”
