Kim Kardashian has shared that she spoke to her late father, Robert Kardashian, via a medium and how she received a brutal response.
Robert gained recognition as the defense attorney of O.J. Simpson during the 1995 murder trial. He died of esophageal cancer in 2003 aged 59.
While the family honors him on birthdays and anniversaries, the SKIMS founder has revealed that she even contacted her late dad.
In an interview with GQ’s Men of the Year, Kim opened up about how his father’s beliefs impacted her life.
She said that her father, who was a devout Christian, had not believed in mediums or psychics even though one once told him that the “Kardashian name would be internationally known.”
However, Kim revealed that she had sometimes turns to mediums for reassurance and even got to speak to her dad after he passed away.
“My dad had a chip on his tooth and I always said, ‘Dad, get a bonding and fix that tooth.’ He’d just laugh and say, ‘Kimberly, no one sees it. It’s fine,’” Kim explained.
During one of her readings, just after chipping a tooth, a medium told her that her dad came through.
The psychic told her: “Your dad is laughing at your tooth.”
Kim continued: “Who would know that? It was nothing that was on the show. It was nothing that I had ever said out loud. Those kinds of things just make me smile inside.”
In February, the reality star paid tribute to her dad, writing: “Happy Birthday Dad- it’s almost getting to the point where I’ve had to remember you longer than I’ve known you.
“Its been 20 years since we’ve celebrated your birthday here on earth. But I will take it because I had the best dad in the whole wide world and am so lucky I had 22 years with you!
“There’s so much I wanna tell you and show you and so many little humans I wish you knew because God you would love them so much! I can close my eyes and hear your voice and remember the funniest little things about you that make me so happy.”
Kim ended her heartwarming post, writing: “I’ll never ever let that go. I just really miss you and kinda need you right now. Please come to me in a dream soon. I love you so much happy 79th birthday!”
