Fans were quick to praise Kelly Clarkson after she aimed a new song at her ex-husband, Brandon Blackstock, during her concert.
The Since U Been Gone hitmaker performed a rendition of Gayle’s ‘ABCDEFU,’ which became viral as girls’ scream-out-loud anthem as the lyrics of the chorus read:
“F*** you and your mom and your sister and your job / And your broke-a** car and that s*** you call art. F*** you and your friends that I’ll never see again / Everybody but your dog, you can all f*** off.”
Clarkson’s rendition has been leaving fans shocked and many praised the singer for revealing her true feelings.
In a video shared on social media, she sang: “F*** you and your dad and the fact that you got half, and my broken heart, turn that s*** into art. F*** you, and your view from the valley I bought you, everybody but your dogs, you can all f*** off!”
The singer was reportedly ordered to pay a one-time payment of $1,326,161 to Blackstock as part of their divorce settlement, plus monthly child support payments of $45,601 for their two children, Remington Alexander, 6, and River Rose, 8.
Audience cheered loudly when Clarkson finished the song and fans were quick to praise the singer, with one person writing: “That must feel so good!! Too bad we can’t all get on a stage when needed.”
Another said: “And your dad and the fact that you got half/And my broken heart, turned that s*** into art.’ Wow, I love the original but these are fierce changes.”
A third said: “I love that she took the dogs out of it.”
