Justin Bieber has shared a health update after he was diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt Syndrome, which forced him to cancel his Justice World Tour.

The Beauty And A Beat singer was diagnosed with the condition last year and issued a statement on Instagram.

He said at that time: “Earlier this year, I went public about my battle with Ramsay-Hunt Syndrome, where my face was partly paralyzed.”

He continued: “As the result of this illness, I was not able to complete the North American leg of the Justice Tour.

“After resting and consulting with my doctors, family, and team, I went to Europe in an effort to continue with the tour. I performed six live shows, but it took a real toll on me. This past weekend, I performed at Rock in Rio and I gave everything I have to the people in Brazil.”

The singer previously announced that he was prioritizing his health but he would still do the world tour once he was back in good condition but fans were left heartbroken when the tour was canceled.

Ramsay Hunt Syndrome is a neurological disorder caused by the varicella-zoster virus, which is the same virus that causes chickenpox.

After chickenpox clears up, the virus is still living in the nerves and may reactivate later. When it does, the condition can affect facial nerves.

Symptoms include rashes inside or around the ear, ear pain, ringing in ears, change or loss of taste, and weakness or paralysis to one side of the face.

Bieber has now given his supporters an update about his health.

Taking to Instagram stories, the Baby hitmaker shared a video of himself and wrote: “wait for it…”

He then smiled at the camera to show fans that he was doing great despite his condition.
