Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner were seen having dinner together with their children only days before she filed a lawsuit against him for the return of their children to England.

The former couple were photographed enjoying a meal at Momofuku Noodle Bar Uptown in New York City on September 18, TMZ reported.

Photos show the four of them sitting together, with one image showing the Jonas Brother member watching the Game of Thrones star as she fed their 14-month-old daughter.

In another picture, the parents had switched spots and Turner carried their eldest daughter in her arms.

However, things turned sour when the mother-of-two filed legal action against the singer for their kids to return to their home in England.

The Dark Phoenix actress reportedly alleged a ‘wrongful retention’ of their kids that started ‘on or about’ September 20, invoking the Convention on the Civil Aspects of International Child Abduction.

Turner claimed that her estranged husband withholds their children’s passports and breaks an alleged agreement for the kids to return to England.

She also emphasized in the court filing that Jonas “refuses to send the children home to England with their Mother,” which she contends shows a violation of her “rights of custody under English law.”

The lawsuit also stated that Turner only discovered ‘through the media’ that the SOS singer had filed for divorce only weeks after an argument on August 15.

But Jonas immediately slammed the claims and denied that he ‘abducted’ the children. His spokesperson claimed that the former couple had ‘multiple conversations’ about their divorce and that the actress was ‘aware.’

“The Florida Court has already entered an order that restricts both parents from relocating the children. Sophie was served with this order on September 6, 2023, more than two weeks ago,” the spokesperson added.
