Sophie Turner, 27, and Joe Jonas, 34, are finally on the same page after they reached a custody agreement, a new report has revealed.
An insider revealed to US Weekly: “They’re on the path to healing and to being healthy coparents.”
The former couple has left fans shocked when they announced their split in September.
The Game of Thrones star and the Do It Like That hitmaker seem to be in a better place now after their custody agreement over their children, Willa, 3, and Delphine, 1.
Court documents obtained by Daily Mail show that the former couple will each have two weeks with their daughters.
The insider also said to the outlet that “it’s definitely not as contentious now. They’re taking steps forward.”
Reports explained that the custody agreement is temporary but the former couple chose to meet each other halfway for the sake of their daughters.
“They spoke recently and it was amicable, and that triggered a quicker resolution,” the insider continued, adding that they did it for the kids.
Turner had initially sued her ex in an attempt to move them back to UK, claiming that the singer was withholding their passports to prevent them from visiting her.
She also claimed that she only learned that her estranged husband filed for divorce through media reports.
“Thereafter, the breakdown of the parties’ marriage happened very suddenly,” court documents read.
But a source told Daily Mail that Turner was aware of Joe’s intention to file for divorce.
“After multiple conversations with Sophie, Joe initiated divorce proceedings in Florida, as Florida is the appropriate jurisdiction for the case. Sophie was aware that Joe was going to file for divorce,” the source said.
