Marvel star Jeremy Renner has returned to the hospital where he received treatment one year after a near-fatal snow plow accident.
Last New Year, the actor was rushed to a hospital after being run over by his seven-ton Pistenbully snow plow as he tried to stop it from hitting his nephew.
The sheriff’s office said at that time: “When Renner attempted to stop or divert the Pistenbully (snowplow) to avoid injury to [his nephew], he was pulled under the vehicle by the track and run over. The Pistenbully rolled over him and continued down the road.”
Renner was taken to hospital in a ‘critical’ condition and fans were later informed that he had broke over 30 bones in his body, had his liver punctured by a broken rib, and had a collapsed lung.
After undergoing physical therapy and surgeries, he has since made a huge recovery.
He has now returned to the hospital where he received life-saving treatment, sharing a photo of himself in one of the emergency services vehicles with his RennerVation Foundation branded on it.
The 52-year-old star set up the initiative and the mission statement reads: “To provide children, from all walks of life, the opportunity to manifest whatever gives them purpose and joy.”
Renner shared the photo on Instagram, writing: “Rollin through Reno, NV with joy, blessings, and [pizza]!!!!
“Stopped by to see kids/superheroes , first responders , and doctors, nurses and staff at Renown hospital. Paying my respects and celebrating love, life and the blessings it brings to us all.
“Thank you and this community for keeping me here.. I’m forever in your debt with gratitude #loveandtitanium.”
