Heavily Pregnant Jennifer Lawrence Showcases Baby Bump On Red Carpet Alongside Leonardo DiCaprio At Premiere Of Don’t Look Up


Jennifer Lawrence showcased her baby bump on the red carpet three months after she confirmed that she and her husband Cooke Maroney are expecting their first child.

The 31-year-old actress, who wore a stunning gold gown by Dior, was joined by co-star Leonardo DiCaprio for the premier of Don’t Look Up.

DiCaprio sported a fitted navy suit while Lawrence sheathed her baby bump in a sparkling gown.

Lawrence talked about her pregnancy in an interview with Vanity Fair in November.

During the interview, she said that while she is excited and grateful to become a mother, she also wants to keep her pregnancy private.

“If I was at a dinner party, and somebody was like, ‘Oh, my God, you’re expecting a baby,’ I wouldn’t be like, ‘God, I can’t talk about that. Get away from me, you psycho!’ But every instinct in my body wants to protect their privacy for the rest of their lives, as much as I can.

“I don’t want anyone to feel welcome into their existence and I feel like that just starts with not including them in this part of my work.”

In September, the actress sparked pregnancy rumors when she was spotted in New York wearing a pair of floral overalls with a noticeable baby bump.

Her representative then confirmed that she was expecting a child.

Sources close to the Winter Bone’s star told People that she has wanted to start a family and finally found the right person to have children with.

“She loves married life, and they have a solid foundation for a baby,” the source said. “She is very happy and looking forward to being a mom.”

Written and directed by Adam McKay, Don’t Look Up focuses on two low-level astronomers Dr. Randall Mindy (Leonardo DiCaprio) and Kate (Jennifer Lawrence) as they go on a tour to warn people of an approaching comet that will result in the destruction of Earth.
