Appearing on US morning show Today, the 64-year-old encouraged everyone to embrace aging and said: “Don’t mess with your face. I put Botox in my head. Does Botox make the big wrinkle go away? Yes. But then you look like a plastic figurine.”

The Everything Everywhere All At Once star has proven many times that she’s aging gracefully and naturally and she hopes that her children will also follow her footsteps.

“Walk a mile in my shoes. I have done it. It did not work. And all I see is people now focusing their life on that,” Curtis said.

The actress is not the only celebrity who spoke against the pressure for women to look fake.

Justine Bateman, 57, previously slammed trolls for ridiculing her appearance.

“I needed to google something to do a little research and remind myself of something that happened when I was famous, so I put in my name, Googled my name, Justine Bateman, and then the autocomplete came up which was ‘looks old,’” she told 60 Minutes Australia.

“And I was only 42 at the time …and I was like ‘what?’ And I looked at the pictures that they had as evidence and I couldn’t see what they were talking about,” Batemen went on.

She also said that she feels sad for women who tried to reverse the signs of aging by using filler and Botox as she thinks that they are ‘not enjoying’ life.

“I feel sad that they are distracted from the things they’re meant to do in life, with this consuming idea that they’ve got to fix their face before anything else can happen,” she added.
