A bride has shared how her husband cruelly humiliated her on their wedding day even though she begged him to not pull any pranks on her on their big day.
The furious bride took to Reddit and revealed that she decided to file for divorce after the incident.
“I noticed my husband Jake watching prank videos. Among other things, these videos showed embarrassing photos of the bride being played on a projector in front of the whole room or the bride’s face being smashed into the cake. I told him straight away that I didn’t want anything like that at our wedding,” she wrote.
Jake laughed it off and assured her that he had no plans to do any pranks but he suddenly wanted to choose the cake and the wedding photographer.
She initially thought that he was just helping with the wedding preparations but she still reminded him that she would divorce him if he pulled a prank on her.
“When the day of the wedding came, everything went smoothly until the ceremony. Until the moment came when the cake was to be cut,” she continued.
Their guests watched as she cut the cake and the photographer stood in front of them.
“Suddenly I felt a hand on the back of my head pushing me face-first into the cake. Not only my make-up but the whole wedding dress was ruined and the whole room laughed, my husband the loudest,” she went on.
The photographer captured the moment and her husband said that the image would be their wedding photo. She then slapped him in the face and walked out of the room in tears.
“Karma didn’t take long to arrive and came in the form of his brother,” the angry bride said, adding that she heard his brother Frank shouting at Jake.
Her husband apologized but she had decided to separate from him and file for divorce.
