The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are seemingly delaying the release of their memoir in fear of upsetting the members of the Royal Family.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle stepped down from their royal duties in 2020 and moved to their Montecito mansion in California.
But according to royal expert Angela Levin, the couple were shocked that the royal family are ‘managing very well’ without the Duke of Sussex.
Speaking to GB News, Levin said: “I think the Jubilee showed that he was quite shocked about how he’s so far away from the Royal Family now, and that they are managing very well, and that William and Katherine are getting on very well with Charles and Camilla, which wasn’t always the case.
“I’m not quite sure whether he’s had second thoughts, because not just here in the United Kingdom – which doesn’t matter to him anymore – but in the United States, they’re losing their popularity incredibly quickly, and they need the royal titles.”
Levin continued: “So if he’s going to do another attack on the Royal Family and reveal things that are really unpleasant – which might not necessarily be true – he can’t then expect any sort of warmth from them.”
During the Sussex’s short visit to the UK for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, they also celebrated the first birthday of their daughter on June 4.
Harry and Meghan’s daughter is named after the Queen’s family nickname – Lilibet. Her middle name, Diana, was chosen to honor Harry’s mother, the late Princess Diana.
Her brother Archie was born in May 2019.
In December last year, the couple released a holiday card featuring all of them. “This year, 2021, we welcomed our daughter, Lilibet, to the world,” their card reads. “Archie made us a ‘Mama’ and a ‘Papa’, and Lili made us a family.”
