The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were seen leaving an Italian restaurant only hours after Prince Harry slammed the Supreme court’s decision to overturn Roe v Wade.
Meghan Markle, 40, sported a black and white jumpsuit and black stilettos while carrying a red clutch.
The mother-of-two also wore her $350,000 Triology engagement ring and wedding band, dainty gold earrings, and $23,000 Cartier Tank Watch of Princess Diana.
Prince Harry donned a more casual look in a navy blue shirt and black denim jeans. He also wore suede sneakers and was accessorized with a necklace and two bracelets.
Their dining experience at the trendy ristorante came only hours after the Duke of Sussex gave a politically charged speech on poverty and climate change during a two-hour meeting at the UN.
“This has been a painful year in a painful decade. We are living through a pandemic that continues to ravage communities in every corner of the globe,” Harry said.
“Climate change wreaking havoc on our planet with most vulnerable suffering most of all. The few weaponizing lies and disinformation at the expense of the many.”
The Duke went on: “And from the horrific war in Ukraine to the rolling back of constitutional right in the US we are witnessing a global assault on democracy and freedom the cause of Mandela’s life.”
The father-of-two also slammed SCOTUS for its decision to overturn federal abortion protections.
The Duchess joined her husband at the UN event, appearing elegant with her hair pulled back into a ponytail. She wore a $1,590 Givenchy patch pocket skirt and matched it with a black blouse and black heels.
