JUST IN: Prince Harry And Meghan Have LOST ‘Last Chance’ To Visit The QUEEN Because It Is Now ‘Too Embarrassing’

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex may miss their final chance to see the Queen if they do not make time to go to Balmoral during their UK trip, a royal expert has warned.

Prince Harry and Meghan are set to appear in Manchester before flying to Germany for the Invictus Games One Year To Go event. Then they will return to the UK later in the week for the WellChild Awards.

However, an expert has claimed that the couple would find it ‘too embarrassing’ to see the Queen after their explosive comments about the Royal Family.

The Sussexes are staying at their Frogmore Cottage in Windsor, a short walk from the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s new home in Adelaide Cottage.

However, it is understood that Harry and Meghan have no plans to visit Prince William and Kate either.

Charlotte Griffiths, the Mail’s editor-in-chief, told Palace Confidential: “I think they’ve got themselves into a position where it’s going too difficult to visit her.

“It’s too embarrassing for them. There will be a hostile reception.”

“Everyone will be on their guarded duty,” Griffiths continued. “I think they’ve got themselves into a position where this could be their last chance, I hope it’s not, to visit the Queen in Balmoral and they might have lost it because of their own publicity.”

This comes after the Duchess of Sussex’s recent interview and claimed that “just by existing, we were upsetting the dynamic of the hierarchy.”

A source told The Sunday Times that Meghan and Harry’s action have been hard to reconcile with Her Majesty’s beliefs, with insiders saying that it is taking its toll.

One insider told the newspaper: “It is hard to see how what they’re doing would equate to the values of the Queen, who has never encouraged people to discuss deeply personal family relationships in public.”

Another source said of the Queen: “She doesn’t want to be on tenterhooks all the time, waiting to see what the next nuclear bomb will be — that will take its toll.”
