A ‘disrespectful’ groom has been slammed for his stunt after he arrived at his wedding in a coffin that was carried down the aisle by the bridesmaids.
The man’s wedding display was caught on camera by one of the guests, who filmed the moment the groom was being carted down the aisle in a black coffin.
The video was then shared on TikTok where it gained more than 8 million views and even though it did not show the bride’s reaction, it left most of the viewers shaking their heads.
The guest, who goes under the username @tobz88 on TikTok, shared the clip with the song Rest In Peace by Dorothy.
“Tell me you’re dramatic without telling me you’re dramatic,” the caption read. “Is this a funeral? No this is how my friend decided to walk down the aisle.”
In the viral clip, two bridesmaids and several groomsmen are seen taking a black coffin out of a vehicle before carrying it down the aisle.
Groomsmen sported grey suits and bow ties while bridesmaids wore elegant blue dresses.
After the group placed the casket down in front of the altar, the groom opened the lid and climbed out.
Wedding guests were shocked by the groom’s actions and internet users were also quick to slam the groom for his ‘disgusting’ wedding display.
Others said that they would’ve canceled the wedding right away if their partner pulled the same kind of stunt.
One TikTok user commented: “I have the deepest ick. Would have left immediately.”
Another wrote: “The disrespect, the audacity.”
A third added: “We would be divorced before we said I do.”
