JUST IN: Female Audience Who Was Seen ‘Laughing Too Hard’ During Chris Rock’s Special RESPONDS To Criticism


A woman who was seen ‘laughing too hard’ during Chris Rock’s Netflix special ‘Selective Outrage’ has responded to criticism online.

Even though the 58-year-old comedian said he wanted to go through the night without offending anyone, he left audiences divided with his jokes about Meghan Markle, Jada Pinkett Smith, and Will Smith.

The performer grabbed the chance to vent his frustrations about Will and Jada and even mentioned her ‘entanglement’ with rapper August Alsina.

“For people that don’t know, well everybody knows, but Will Smith’s wife was f***ing her son’s friend,” Chris said on the show.

“Okay? I normally would not talk about this s**t, but, for some reason, they put it on the internet.

“She hurt him way more than he hurt me.

“Everybody in the world was calling him a b***h, and I tried to call him up and he didn’t pick up the phone to me. Everybody was calling him a b***h, everybody, everybody, and he slaps me? That is some b***h a** s**t.”

While some viewers said that the jokes went ‘too far,’ others found his gags hilarious.

A 21-year-old woman was seen multiple times laughing out loud throughout the special and it seems like she had a good time.

She even took to TikTok and joked about he cameraman focusing on her.

“POV: You were the girl in the audience of the Chris Rock comedy special that the cameraman kept showing,” she wrote.

But she immediately received negative comments from trolls, with one saying: “No way I would be proud to be in that audience laughing.”

Another said: “Amazing Acting cuz baby ain’t no way that laughter was real cuz that special was HORRIBLE.”

A third added: “You looked amazing but you know you was not that entertained.”

The woman, identified as Fely Yigle, then responded to criticism and said: “I knew what I signed up for. I did not come to watch a presidential campaign or debate. I came to laugh and I came to not get offended.

“So I did not put myself in a place to get offended – so I didn’t take anything he said seriously.”

She also used the title of Rock’s comedy against the trolls, telling them: “Some of y’all got ‘selective outrage’; you pick and choose when to be mad and when to not be mad. You made [Rock’s] point.

“Overall, if you didn’t think it was funny, to each their own. But don’t be getting mad at somebody else because they decided to laugh.”
