A woman was left disappointed after her date took her to McDonald’s when he said that he would take her out for a fancy meal.
Darcy took to TikTok and shared how she got all dressed up after the 6ft 4in man asked her out and told her that the date was on him.
She said that the guy told her ‘Nah babe it’s fine honestly, we can just get a couple of drinks and I’d love to treat you, you’re worth it.’
“Just for a bit of back story, he’s 6ft 4 and drives a Beamer,” Darcy said in the video. She also posted a video of them in McDonald’s where their conversation was dry.
“Spoons for a quick one, then he said let me take you for a meal,” she wrote.
The video was then cut to them in McDonald’s with the caption: “Can you hear how fuming I am in my voice? Best believe I ate my nugs then dashed.”
Darcy continued: “I’m actually fuming, can you actually believe it? The audacity! This man got me a nine piece nugget meal – and he had my drink.
“’In 2022, we are not manifesting this behaviour from men, we do not attract these men. You really think I deserve Maccies? B****, I deserve the Shard.”
Darcy also said that she wanted to reveal the guy’s identity but she decided not to.
“But just know that you’re not gonna get any girl with that – I mean, if that’s your style, then fairs, but not a girl like me,” she added.
People online were quick to share their thoughts, with one persn writing: “So she still stayed for the nugs? If she wasn’t “manifesting” this type of man, she should have made her excuses after the drink in the spoons.”
Another wrote: “She should have seen the humour in it – just goes to shows what some girls are after. Shame.”
A third said: “I wouldn’t even take her to McDonalds. Maybe a sandwich bar and then I would do a runner.”
