Cher claims her life span is ‘longer than any other human being ever’ and believes she deserves a spot in the Guinness Book of World Records.
The singer always leaves her fans stunned with her glowing and youthful appearance even though she’s older than her looks.
It was in 1965 when her career started after she and Sonny Bono released her single ‘I Got You Babe’ and she has became unstoppable.
The 77-year-old said in an interview with The Guardian: “My life seems to be longer than any other human being ever. I feel like I should be in the Guinness Book of World Records for this. And I’m still going!”
Cher, who is set to release her first-ever Christmas album, also admitted that it took some time before she finally agreed to do it.
“Everyone has done one, so when my manager called and said, ‘We’d like you to do this,’ my immediate answer was ‘No!’”
“He said, ‘Just think about it.’ So, I sat down and thought, ‘What can I do that’s different?’” she continued.
Cher also said that even though the music was festive-themed, her album ‘doesn’t scream ‘Christmas’ every second.’
Her album features brand new material, including tracks ‘Drop Top Sleigh Ride’ and ‘DJ Play a Christmas Song.’
The singer also opened up about her relationship with boyfriend Alexander ‘AE’ Edwards, 37, and their 40-year age gap, insisting that it is never too late to find love.
In an interview with PEOPLE, Cher said she was not expecting to fall in love with someone who is younger than her.
“Alexander’s got diamond teeth, tattoos, white hair, and he’s way younger. He’s a beautiful man. Also, I think it’s fun to be interested in somebody else’s love life!”
