The cast of the 1985 classic ‘Back to the Future’ posed for heartwarming selfies during an emotional reunion over the weekend.

Thomas F. Wilson, Lea Thompson, Christopher Lloyd, and Michael J. Fox all attended the Fan Expo Portland Convention – a 3-day affair for pop culture buffs to meet their favorite artists and celebrities.

Thompson, 61, Wilson, 63, Fox, 61, and Lloyd, 84, represented their hit franchise Back to the Future, which centered on Fox’s character Marty McFly.

McFly time travels in a special DeLorean modified by Lloyd’s character, mad scientist Doc.

Two more films followed and it became one of the most successful movie franchises in history, according to CNN.

They were all smiles as the posed for a sweet selfie. Thompson later shared it on Instagram and wrote: “Wow honestly had the best time today with my #bttf family.”

Fox also shared the heartwarming photo on his Instagram stories and wrote: “I love being at these FanExpo events and seeing some of my favorite people like Lea, Tom, Chris and all you #bttf heads. Heavy.”

He has experienced a difficult few years after being diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease and battling with alcohol addiction to cope with the condition.

In an upcoming AppleTV+ documentary about his life, he said: “I didn’t know what was happening. I didn’t know what was coming. So what if I could just have four glasses of wine and maybe a shot? I was definitely an alcoholic. But I’ve gone 30 years without having a drink.”

He continued: “As low as alcohol had brought me, abstinence would bring me lower. I could no longer escape myself.

“You can’t pretend at home that you don’t have Parkinson’s because you’re just there with it. If I’m out in the world, I’m dealing with other people and they don’t know I have it.”

He also revealed that he’s been suffering with ‘intense pain.’

“People around me are going, ‘Be careful, be careful.’ And I’m like, ‘This has nothing to do with being careful. This happens.’”
