Britney Spears and longtime partner Sam Ashgari tied the knot on Thursday evening in a fairytale ceremony that was attended by a select group of family and friends.
The intimate ceremony took place at the popstar’s $7 million mansion in Los Angeles, with newly-shared photos showing the bride and her groom grinning from ear to ear after exchanging their vows.
The 40-year-old singer looked radiant in her Versace wedding dress, which featured an elegant veil and an off-the-shoulder neckline.
Britney also wore two pairs of diamond earrings, a diamond necklace, and her diamond wedding bans for the special occasion attended by Drew Barrymore, Madonna, Paris Hilton, and Selena Gomez.
Also in attendance were Ansel Elgort, Kathy Hilton, Donatella Versace, Maria Menounos, and Britney’s attorney Matthew Rosengart.
The couple’s rings were created by Gottlieb, who said of the elegant designs: “We knew that Britney’s dress had a classic silhouette with an open neckline, so we designed timeless pieces that would complement the style.”
The pair exchanged their vows while holding hands, with Sam beaming as he faced his bride during the ceremony that took place in a pink set up on the grounds of Baby One More Time hitmaker’s mansion in California.
“Britney walked herself down the aisle. She looked absolutely stunning in her main dress,” a source told People. “She cried happy tears at some moments.”
Kevin Federline, Jamie Spears, Lynne Spears, Jamie Lynn Spears, and Britney’s sons Jayden James and Sean Preston did not attend the ceremony.
“It ended up being the happiest night for Britney,” the source said.
“She wanted a fairytale wedding and she got it. Britney looked stunning.”
