A heartbroken bride just found out some horrible news only a day before she was about to tie the knot with the man who she thought was the right one for her.

She was in a hotel with her friends the night before their wedding when she received an anonymous text message.

She thought it was another congratulations for their upcoming nuptials but it was actually a series of screenshots of text messages that her boyfriend of six years had sent to his lover.

The devastated bride also received selfies of his fiancée with his lover. Based on the dates, the affair ahd been going on for several months and some of the texts were from days before their wedding.

One text message said: “This weekend. You and I. it is on, hot stuff. Bring your game.”

Another read: Your body is f***ing incredible. And s*** do you know how to use it.”

A third added: “I wish my GF had half the skills you do.”

The bride-to-be told the publication Body and Soul that she broke down in tears as she showed her friends the screenshots. They told her to call off the wedding but she decided to plot an act of revenge.

“I walked down the aisle with leaden feet, my dream dress now just a costume,” she wrote.

“As he saw my face he knew this was not an ecstatic woman on her big day, but he had no idea what was coming. I arrived at the front of the room, took a big breath and I faced our friends, our parents and I told them the truth.”

The crowd were left shocked when she said: “There will be no wedding today,” adding that her fiancé was “not who I thought he was.”

She added: “There will not be a wedding reception today, but instead, there will be a celebration of honesty, finding true love and following your heart even when it hurts.”
