A bride has sparked a heated debate after she decided to wear a blinged-out Crocs on her wedding day.

In a Facebook group titled Wedding Ideas, one woman sparked a lengthy debate over her footwear as some women slammed her for having ‘no class.’

“Wedding crocs? Yes or No?!” the post read.

Opinionated brides were quick to share their thoughts on wearing Crocs at a wedding, with one person commenting: “No no no no no. Perhaps in 1990? Crocs are acceptable almost nowhere – in fact I can’t think of anywhere but people buy them so someone must wear them.”

Another said: “The only reason crocs have holes in is to let all your self-respect and dignity run out through them!!!!”

A third said: “That’s the problem. People have no class anymore. No one dresses up, it’s all about comfort.

Someone else said: “That looks crocs. I mean gross. Just being honest. They surely could of worn a flat pretty sandal or shoe. I hope the bride didn’t wear her crocs. Such a turn off.”

But others were quick to defend the comfortable footwear, with one Crocs lover saying: “Love them! Why the heck not be comfy? I think it’s awesome! Heck, if I could have worn crocs down the aisle as a bride – I would have!”

Another said: “I vote yes. Comfortable happy feet mean happy bridesmaids. Hopefully, they can dance in crocs… Why hurt yourself to look good to other women who are also hurting their feet knees backs and necks w uncomfortable shoes.”

A third comfort-first bride added: “I am not a heel person at all. Converse for the ceremony and crocs for the reception.”
