A 5-year-old boy has captured millions of hearts around the world after he dressed up to deliver gifts to his crush.
His mother, 32-year-old Shelby Small from New York, filmed the adorable moment her son Anthony delivered flowers, chocolates, and a stuffed toy to his crush Lila at their front door before Valentine’s Day.
In the video shared on TikTok, she said: “My five-year-old asking a girl in his class to be his Valentine.”
Shelby’s post has been viewed over 30 million times since it was shared on Sunday.
The video shows little Anthony wearing a navy suit while waiting outside the house of his classmate Lila with flowers, a box of chocolates, and a stuffed animal in his hand.
When a man answered the door, he politely asked: “May I see Lila?”
Lila then came out and he gave her the gifts. “Happy Valentine’s,” he said.
Lila’s mother then offered to carry her gifts so she could give the young boy a hug to thank him before he left.
Shelby’s video has gained over 148,000 comments from people who were touched by his son’s romantic gesture.
“This was the cutest thing I’ve seen in a long time,” one person wrote.
“What a little gentleman,” another said.
“It really starts with the parents… they don’t make them like this no more! Good job young man,” a third said.
“Lol there’s some GROWN men that need to take notes from this lil guy,” someone else commented.
