Ariana Grande has officially filed for divorce from luxury real estate agent Dalton Gomez after only two years of marriage.

This comes after the pop star’s new boyfriend Ethan Slater filed for divorce from Lilly Jay. According to TMZ, Ariana’s lawyer Laura Wesser cited ‘irreconcilable difference’ as the reason for the divorce.

The news outlet claims that the pair have worked out everything before going to the courthouse and that the 30-year-old singer will ‘cut Dalton a check.’

According to reports, the date of separation was listed as February 20, 2023.

It is claimed that there are no hard feelings between Ariana and Dalton and ‘they’ve been really caring and respectful of one another every step of this process.’

It was in January 2020 when they first started dating. Only months later, they announced their engagement.

The former couple tied the knot in a romantic ceremony with less than 20 guests at their California home in May 2021.

This July, Ariana’s new boyfriend Ethan, 31, filed for divorce from Lilly Jay, who was left ‘devastated.’

They have been married since 2018 and share a son that they just welcomed last month.

Ariana and Ethan’s relationship reportedly blossomed while filming Wicked in London and the ‘Thank U, Next’ hitmaker is now living with him in New York City.

“Ariana is living with a married man right now while she is still married,” a source told Daily Mail before Dalton and Ariana had filed for divorce.

Another source told Daily Mail that Ethan and Ariana never intended for their relationship to go public.

“They were hoping to keep it a secret and go back to their marriages as if nothing had happened. But this was not possible because they got caught,” the source said.

“Now they are stuck together and have really nothing in common with each other. It will be interesting to see how this plays out.”
