Amy Schumer took to Instagram and shared a photo of herself wearing only her underwear as she celebrated her ’40 extra lbs’.
In the photo, the 42-year-old actress showed off her mesmerizing smile and makeup-free face.
“Still got it,” she captioned her post. The photo was taken in her bathroom, featuring a bathtub, green leaf-patterned wallpaper, a towel-warming rack, and a glass shower.
Last year, Schumer shared photos from the Comedy Central Roast of Roseanne in 2012 and a recent photo of her in a hospital.
“Warning 20 somethings, I looked like this at your age. Swipe. Life is coming for you,” she wrote.
She also shared the same photos on her Instagram story and wrote: “Girls in your 20s guess what? I looked like you too. Life is coming for you b***hes.”
Many stars, including Viola Davis, Camilla Morrone, Michelle Visage and Michelle Pfeiffer engaged with Schumer’s post.
Fans were quick to praise the actress for being real, with one person saying: “I saw a picture of myself from 2005 the other day, and I haven’t fully recovered, life comes at ya fast.”
Another said: “Just wait until menopause. That’s a fun one.”
In November last year, Schumer sparked a debate after she claimed that she is the ‘most successful female comedian of all time.’
She also defended her career as she addressed the criticism but the Instagram post has since been deleted.
“When you say I’m rich, please add in ‘self-made.’ I come from being dirt poor. Senator Chuck Schumer is my dad’s second cousin once removed. I didn’t meet him until I was 25. I have never been given any money to support a cause other than tampons,” she stated.
