Jennifer Aniston has recently revealed that her Murder Mystery co-star Adam Sandler sends her flowers every Mother’s Day amid her fertility struggles.
In an interview with Allure, the Friends star opened up about her struggles with fertility and revealed how she spent years ‘trying to get pregnant.’
“I would say my late 30s, 40s, I’d gone through really hard s**t, and if it wasn’t for going through that, I would’ve never become who I was meant to be,” she said.
Aniston continued: “That’s why I have such gratitude for all those s**tty things. Otherwise, I would’ve been stuck being this person that was so fearful, so nervous, so unsure of who they were.
“And now, I don’t f**king care.”
Many media outlets and tabloids falsely reported that the reason her marriage to Justin Theroux and Brad Pitt ended in divorce was because she did not want to have children.
“All the years and years and years of speculation… It was really hard,” Aniston expressed.
“I was going through IVF, drinking Chinese teas, you name it. I was throwing everything at it. I would’ve given anything if someone had said to me, ‘Freeze your eggs. Do yourself a favor.’ You just don’t think it.
“So here I am today. The ship has sailed.”
But Aniston said that she had no regrets.
“I have zero regrets. I actually feel a little relief now because there is no more, ‘Can I? Maybe. Maybe. Maybe.’ I don’t have to think about that anymore,” she told Allure.
In an interview with the Wall Street Journal, the actress has revealed that Adam Sandler and his wife Jackie send her flowers every Mother’s Day as a show of support for what she has gone through.
