Curious Ostrich Lingers Behind A Politician Who Was Delivering His Speech During A TV Interview

The hilarious clip shows the President of Cantabria in northern Spain, Miguel Angel Revilla, delivering his speech for the reopening of Cabarceno Natural Park zoo when an ostrich suddenly walked by and lingered for a while.

Mr. Revilla keeps talking about the reopening of the zoo being one of the steps to restore the economy, oblivious to the sneaky bird behind him.

Towards the end of the hilarious video, another ostrich appears behind.

The 77-year-old saw the funny side of the incident and shared a cute photo of the ostrich and a picture of Homer Simpson. “The Simpsons already predicted it,” he captioned the photo.

One internet user commented: “Animals are the BEST!!”

Another wrote: “Ostriches have such cute faces.”

During the press conference, the regional president said the Cabarceno Natural Park, where many animals are allowed to roam freely, is a safe place to visit and encouraged people to see the place.

Spain is one of the countries in Europe that introduced a strict lockdown but the restrictions are being eased. “Using masks will be compulsory on the street, in open spaces and any closed place of public use, when it is not possible to maintain a safe distance of at least two metres (6.5ft),” the new law states.
