Ever since Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have stepped back from royal duties, celebrities are sharing their opinion on the matter.
The latest to join them is Oprah Winfrey who is a close friend of Meghan.
Oprah has come forward to support her friend as she has said that no one ‘has the right’ to question Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s decision and she supports them 1000 percent.
When Oprah was asked by reporters about Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s decision to step back, she said: “I don’t think anybody else has any right to say anything, when a person has sat and thought about what is the best decision for him and his family, and then he makes that decision… none of us have any right to say anything about that.
She said she supports them as they had months of discussions before taking this big decision and even the Queen hinted that it’s been going on for months.
“I support them 1000 per cent. I support them because I believe that when you have thought about this as long as they have… And even in the Queen’s statement, take note, this has been going on for months”, she added.
Oprah also asked everyone that who are we to judge anyone and their life choices?
Oprah said Prince Harry did what he needed to do for his family and he is not wrong in this. She went on to say that they took this decision after months of discussions so it’s unfair to blame them.
Oprah said: “Who are any of us to stand in judgment of that? That’s what I think.’ I’m saying he did what he needed to do for his family. That’s his decision to make for him and his family.”
Meanwhile, Meghan’s friend Gayle King also supported the couple and said that the couple didn’t ‘make that decisions in a vacuum’ and they had a lot of discussions about it. He said: “And that’s why I thought it was very unfair to say that the Queen was blindsided.”
Earlier it was reported that Oprah advised Meghan on stepping back from royal duties.
