Qizai has turned 10 years old and he is the only brown and white panda to be living in captivation. The fur of the panda has been boggling with the minds of experts for years now and they are yet to find the reason behind the color.

The bear who is about 30 years old in human years, has been bullied when he was a little cub but yesterday he got a new life as he has been adopted by a US-based charity called Pandas International that works in order to keep the giant pandas safe.

Qizai is going to live in north-western China’s Shaanxi Province in Qinling Giant Panda Research Centre. This is the place he will feel most at home.

But the headquarters in Denver of Panda International will have access to the center for regular checks on the panda.

The charity had been funding the centers for years so the center decided to ask the charity if they wish to adopt Qizai.

In the year 2000 Suzanne Braden and Diane Rees, the co-founders of animal conversation group had provided free vaccines, baby panda cribs, lab instruments, and milk powder to the center.

This proved to be a great aid for the caretakers of the center as previously they had to feed the pandas by hands and had to get them relaxed with certainly too many efforts.
