Lawrence Franks, 84 years of age, who had been a lifeguard as well as a driver.
One day he called the emergency services center 911 and told the call operator that he has killed his wife. His call was being recorded as he confessed to the operator that he could not confront his wife so, that’s why he murdered her with a rod like thing. Simultaneously he requested the police to not use sirens because it will disturb the birthday party of an innocent girl in his neighbors. The operator was unable to get that why he was saying this, his reputation might be the reason.
This breathtaking scene was captured by a team of a film who was recording on the emergency services of North England and was shown on BBC that how an aged man hit his own wife.
The name of the culprit’s wife was Patricia Franks, 86 years old and suffering from the Alzheimers disease commonly known as dementia, a mental illness. She was uncontrollable and was unable to move, upon that she was unable to comprehend her own husband. It became hard for the culprit to deal with her.

Franks, however, made adjustments in the home as changing the garage into a bedroom to give comfort to his wife but he did this without taking any help. As the judge continued that because of her concern Franks could not shift her to a nursing home.
It became difficult to deal with her when her condition ramshackle. Judge David said that this incident was ignited by impulse because, despite the mental condition and Franks own age, Franks gave care to his wife. Mrs. Frank’s nephew, however, remarked that he had no hatred towards Mr. Franks.
