An Old Couple, Who Had Been Looking for a Picture of the First Time They Met For Years, Finally Found it 50 Years Later


First dates are always special; you know that the one you are sitting with may become the one you end up getting married.

We all have that one special idea for our first date and we never forget to take a picture for sure.

But what if you accidentally met someone fell in love and lived for 50 years together. You will probably never have a chance to go out on that first date and you will never have the picture of the first time you met.

This is what this couple has been trying to do for 50 years, they have been looking for a photo for a very long time and guess what, they have finally found it out of the blue.

Judy and Jerry Griffin first met 50 years ago on Aug. 15, 1969; it was an iconic day that defined a whole generation. It was the Woodstock music festival.

Jerry Griffin explains that while they were going to the festival, he saw her, Judy’s car had broken down and she came up to ask for help.

71 years old Judy said “We were in the middle of the road when we saw their car. There was a woman with them so I thought they must be safe and I hopped into the car.

That is when we first met and spent the entire festival together. Since that day we have been together.”

They both have been trying to find a picture of themselves since a very very long time but had no luck until now.

Jerry said “One day one of my friends snapped me a picture and it was us in the festival. He had taken a screenshot out of the new documentary called Woodstock: Three Days that Defined a Generation, by Warner Brothers.

They finally found that one picture they had been looking for literally forever.
