One of his posts was a meme showing a police officer giving a thumbs up with a caption that read: ‘Don’t be a thug if you can’t take a slug!’

Another post showed a photo of actor Leonardo DiCaprio raising a glass of champagne with the caption: ‘When you see a skateboard wielding Antifa chickens*** get smoked by an AR toting 17-yr-old.’

According to The Baltimore Sun, Love’s posts on social media seemed to support the teen’s argument that he had only acted in self-defense.

The official also reshared a photo of Rittenhouse cleaning graffiti.

Other social media posts included a photo of people marching with a caption: ‘Defund the police! We can police our own communities’ and a photo of Rittenhouse carrying his rifle, with words ‘policed his community.’

Eric Luedtke, a Maryland delegate, wrote on Twitter saying Hogan should fire Love.

Darryl Barnes, the chairman of the Maryland Legislative Black Caucus, also called for Love to be fired.

“This type of rhetoric is fueling what we’re seeing across the country. You see why there’s such a call for the repeal of the Law Enforcement Officers Bill of Rights. You see why people of all races are marching in the streets calling for justice,” Barnes said.

Love reportedly wrote on social media saying that ‘people on the left try to get you fired from your job for speaking truth. it’s better to be fired for being honest than the LIE.’
