Officer Who Took The Lives Of Two Dogs In Front Of Owner Apologized For His Behavior


A community officer in China has allegedly killed two small dogs using an iron rod in front of their heartbroken owners because it would ‘prevent the spread of coronavirus.

According to reports, the poodles were clubbed to death after the community officer and the pooches’ owner got into an argument.

The officer stopped the owner from walking the dogs but the owner continued to take the poodles out.

The owner’s friend shared a video of the officer striking one of the poodles as the owner tried to stop the cruel act. In the video, the owner can be seen trying to protect the dog in his arms.

According to the friend, the owner was walking his dogs out when the community officer “snatched the dogs away.”

The blogger wrote on Weibo: “The officer threatened to beat the owner to death if he didn’t give away the dogs.”

“You’ve killed dogs today. Are you going to kill people tomorrow?” he wrote in his post. “Where is justice when such violence exists?”

One of the pooches was a 10-year-old dog and had crippled legs, he added.

The officer shared a post and apologized for his behavior. “I’m deeply sorry and I will compensate the owner accordingly,” he said in a post. He also said that residents had been banned from taking their pets outside because of “concerns over the coronavirus outbreak.”

He added: “The owner refused to listen after our management team had tried to reason with him multiple times.

“We were both very stressed out and aggressive. I overreacted after we got into an argument. I want to express my deepest apology again.”

According to Chinese media, the case is now under investigation by police.
