Richard Dinkins, a Tennessee judge, made oath-taking ceremony of freshly graduated lawyer mom extra special by holding her young infant during the swearing-in. Juliana Lamar, from Belmont University College of Law, is the mom of a 1-year-old boy, Beckham. Beckham was born while Lamar was in her law school.

However, being a mom while still in college was not easy for Lamar.point 55 | A week after undergoing a C-section, Lamar had to show up for classes because her school had a strict attendance policy.point 155 | But it was the Javon, her husband, who helped her to go through this situation.point 220 | 1
Finally, after her graduation, a special moment of her oath-taking became extra special when the Judge involved her son. According to the Lamar, “Judge Dinkins reminded me of how proud he was of me and that he knew I would do great things, even with a baby in tow.”
Dinkins, the judge, holds her young son as he administered her oath. No doubt, these were the swearing-in moments of Lamar’s life as she was feeling truly blessed.
