Nurse Broke Down In Tears While Telling She Is Rejoining The NHS And May Die


A 38-Contravenedold nurse, who has decided to rejoin the NHS, broke down in tears and admitted she may die.

Laura Hindle used to work as an A&E nurse but she then started working at children’s hospice Derian House in Chorley, Lancashire five years ago.

She is now rejoining the NHS and will start working as a frontline worker at the Royal Preston Hospital.

Laura said her friends in A&E told her that there’s a shortage of personal protective equipment (PPE) and some of her friends have tested positive for coronavirus.

She told The Sun: “I know I’m putting myself in danger. I have several friends who have tested positive. I know I could end up a statistic as well.”

“But we’re in this together and we have to remain together.”

Laura will be staying away from her family and will FaceTime them. She said she won’t sleep in the same room as her husband and will use a separate room and bathroom.

Laura just wants to help her colleagues to save the lives of the people amid coronavirus pandemic.

Several NHS workers have died after contracting coronavirus while treating patients.

A 68-year-old nurse at Aintree University Hospital in Liverpool, the youngest British medic John Alagos, a 36-year-old Walsall staff nurse Amreema Nasreen, and a 39-year-old nurse at the QEQM Hospital in Margate, Kent, Aimee O’Rourke are one of them.

Laura admits that she may die while doing her job but she still wants to help in a time like this.

Her friends have already told her about their horrific experiences of treating people with coronavirus but still, she is determined to return to the NHS to help.

She said: “I’ve got to help my colleagues.”

Laura said she will be sharing her experiences through videos.
