A nurse, who works at a medical center in Forth Worth, Florida, broke down in tears after a stranger helped her when her car broke down just before going to the work.
Kyrie Anderson took to Facebook to share the heartwarming incident as she told she couldn’t even unlock her car after its battery died just before going to the work.
That’s when she saw a truck driving into the parking garage and thought to ask for help. She waved at the driver and he tried to help her but it didn’t work.
She was getting late and was just standing there looking for help when a stranger approached her.
He asked: ‘So, you’re a nurse?’ and when she said yes, he said: ‘are you going to be late?’
The stranger then thanked the nurse for the amazing work that the nurses and doctors are doing amid the coronavirus outbreak and offered her his car keys and asked Kyrie to drive his car to work.
The stranger said: “I know this might sound strange…but I’ve been in quarantine with my wife for a while now. I have nothing to do. I can stay here and wait for locksmith and you can drive my other car to work if you want. We won’t need it.”
Kyrie was left shocked and asked the man if he was serious several times and he said: ‘Yes’.
She broke down in tears and asked the man for his name and phone number to give to the locksmith.
Kyrie wrote on Facebook: “I drove a complete stranger’s Prius to work today and drove his car to work crying most of the way.
She said she is so grateful to the man and hopes to repay him someday.
Kyrie’s post instantly went viral online and everyone praised the kind stranger for his act of kindness. Facebook users branded him as a ‘guardian angel’ and thanked him wholeheartedly.
