A nurse working at a care home has been sacked after protesting lockdown and suggesting that the pandemic is a hoax because there’s “no evidence” of the novel coronavirus.

31-year-old Carley Louise Stewart from Preston, England, took to the streets of London with a sign that read “We have empty beds” on one side and “Nurse on call. Where’s the pandemic?” on the other.

Despite the fact that over one million people have died of COVID-19 since the start of the outbreak in China, the mother-of-two claimed there is “absolutely no evidence of a killer virus, let alone a pandemic.”

After getting sacked over her views, Stewart spoke out to FEMAIL and revealed she’s going to continue fighting against isolation and lockdown.

“I can’t bear dishonesty of any kind, and I could see dishonesty on a massive scale during this so-called pandemic. I couldn’t stand by and not say anything. I’d be as complicit in the lies if I did that,” the nurse said.

“I’m not doing this for myself – I don’t need the hassle to be honest. I’m doing it for the people who are suffering, especially those in care homes, separated from friends and family, slowly losing the will to live.

“Thanks to the lockdown, people are now malnourished, despairing and losing their minds. Where are the figures on that? Many care home residents are now at breaking point and I need to speak up on their behalf.”

Stewart was fired from her job as a care home nurse after posing for photos in a uniform while wielding her controversial placard.

Once the photos went viral, the nurse was allegedly called by her boss and asked to attend a meeting. Following the meeting, she was formally dismissed from her job for breaching company policy.
