Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra celebrated their first wedding anniversary on December 1.
The couple had a lavish wedding ceremony last year in Jodhpur.
On completing one year, Nick took to social media to wish his wife along with a throwback picture of them. “One year ago today we said forever… well forever isn’t nearly long enough,” Nick captioned the photo.
“I love you with all of my heart @priyankachopra happy anniversary,” he added.
Priyanka also shared a photo and video on Instagram from their nuptials. “My promise. Then..today.. forever. You bring me joy, grace, balance, excitement, passion.. all in the same moment…thank you for finding me..” she wrote. “Happy First wedding anniversary Husband.. @nickjonas. And Thank you to everyone for the love and good wishes. We feel blessed.”
Nick and Priyanka had a white wedding which was held on December 1, followed by Haldi, Sangeet and a Hindu wedding the next day. The 27-year-old singer came with his relatives and friends to India. They also took part in Indian wedding traditions like Haldi and Sangeet.
The couple loves to share their pictures with each other on social media and their Instagram handle is full of lovey-dovey pictures of them.
“One of the most special things our relationship has given us is a merging of families who love and respect each other’s faiths and cultures,” Chopra wrote on Instagram after the Mehendi celebration. “And so planning our wedding with an amalgamation of both was so so amazing.”
Recently, Priyanka has gifted Nick a German shepherd puppy named Gino. Nick shared the video on his Instagram in which Priyanka wakes up her husband in bed and surprised him with a dog.
“Pri came home with the absolute best surprise this morning. Please meet our new pup @ginothegerman,” he wrote. “I haven’t stopped smiling since I woke up this morning and finally realized what was going on. Thank you @priyankachopra.”
In an interview with Vogue India in September, Priyanka talked about her plan of having a baby with Nick.
“Buying a home and having a baby are on my to-do list,” she said. “For me, home is wherever I’m happy, as long as I have the people I love around me.”
Nick also admitted that he wants to be a father someday. He spoke to Spotify saying, “The Rewind With Guy Raz, “I definitely want to be a father someday. I think that’s a real dream.”
