For many, a good haircut is everything you need to feel and look good about yourself.
And while for some it may be a simple change, for others, it has to do with being a life transformation. And that’s exactly the case with a breast cancer survivor who happened to be healing from the side effects of her chemotherapy.
The woman explains how she was given a horrifying new look after she decided to go for a haircut on Christmas eve.
The single mother began to explain how she lost all of her hair due to the adverse effects of her cancer treatment but little did she know that there was more horror awaiting her in terms of her hair.
“I didn’t have much hair so I had to get extensions. I was very excited to have a new look for Christmas this year,” explained the mother who did not wish to reveal her identity.
“To help boost my confidence, I opted to get a chic styled ombre toned hair extensions but little did I know about the end results that awaited me,” she explained.
The single mother who hails from Beverley in East Yorkshire went on to add how she felt devastated when a 5-hour long hair transformation job left her on the verge of tears, just before Christmas.
Think along the lines of zebra-striped strands of hair, comprising of both brown and blonde as recently revealed in a report via Hull Live.
The exact cost of the damage repair will reportedly cost her 600 British Pounds and that is exactly double the amount that she was forced to pay.
“Overall, I was given an estimated quote of 300 pounds for the whole job. And that’s when I told the person in charge that I would have to request my grandfather for more money as it was such a big amount,” she mentioned.
As soon as the single mother arrived, she saw the salon owner receive a mix of blonde and brown hair and she began to do them. But after five hours, the horror was just heartbreaking because it was not what she was expecting after years of wanting that perfect hairstyle.
