President Zelensky of Ukraine may not have worn a suit to the Oval Office but he certainly did manage to provide a savage explanation when asked about his dress code at the historic Oval Office visit.
The matter arose after one US journalist didn’t hold back from questioning the Ukrainian leader about his attire and why he didn’t wear a suit to such a prestigious and honorable event of signing a trade deal worth trillions.
If that was not enough, he was insulted with another following statement by the media person who asked if he owned one after seeing him in more semi-formal and casual wear, including military attire.
The question certainly did leave the leader surprised as that was the least of his concerns right now, considering the fact that his nation is fighting a war with Russia and people dying each day.
‘You are at the highest level of this country’s office and you choose to wear this. Why aren’t you suited up? Do you own a suit?’ was the question put forward by the White House correspondent.
He was then told that a lot of Americans had issues with him not respecting the country’s office. Clearly, this did not make him happy.
‘I face more pressing problems with the war in Europe than to worry about my suit or attire!’- he added.
Many around the globe, including Americans, rooted for the leader and gave him a standing ovation for shunning the bullies and making him feel uncomfortable and vulnerable.
