New footage showed Volodymyr Zelensky getting a standing ovation after his dramatic Oval Office showdown with Donald Trump in the White House.
Despite the bullying on display by Trump and Vance, who accused him of disrespecting the American nation and its people, the response from fellow Americans was everything but negative.
While Zelensky did admit that he and his country are facing a difficult time right now, he was not going to be accused of something that he didn’t do.
He’s also very grateful to the US for the support it has provided, time and time again, sending out a special thank you message to Trump.
In the clip, Zelensky is roundly applauded while arriving at a meeting with Ukrainians in the American capital shortly after a bruising bust up with the American President.
One wounded fighter explained to him that he represented the country with greater dignity today and his words and demeanor set a great example for all others.
Zelensky has made it very clear that there would be zero tolerance for Russia to invade Ukraine as it does not belong to them and it’s about time that their country fought for its rights, instead of being silenced for decades.
He was praised for spreading the word of truth and not letting political tensions and pressure get to him.
