Starbucks has issued a new statement clarifying its company policy after an employee refused a client’s request to write Charlie Kirk’s name on their cup.

The murder of the 31-year-old MAGA activist in September has further polarized an already divided nation and sparked massive debate regarding free speech across the nation, sources continued.

In the now viral TikTok video, a woman is seen speaking about how Starbucks refused to write or say Charlie Kirk’s name. She added that she had done nothing wrong and only requested that Kirk’s name be included, but the barista said no, as he deemed it to be a political scenario, just to have the name mentioned on the cup.

The woman slammed the coffee chain, stating that she had every right to honor Kirk and that writing a name was something that she should have had no problems with.

The incident has led to a widespread debate, leading to Starbucks rolling out a statement on the matter. The company threw the barista under the bus and claimed that they have no restrictions regarding the name Charlie Kirk and would certainly be writing it on all cups, if and when requested.
