Singer Lana Del Rey is raising eyebrows after diners who popped in for a meal at a local waffle house in Alabama spotted her serving tables and working as a waitress.

 

As one can imagine, the news has gone viral and has people talking for obvious reasons. After all, why would someone this famous be doing something of the sort, right? 

The news has been making the air for a while now and Lana has finally opted to set the record straight. And why she was moonlighting as a waitress. 

The 38-year-old added how diners were stunned after seeing her and she had to make it a point and reveal what she was doing and how she hopped behind the counter to help get orders out. 

“All eyes were on me and I just had to make it a point and reveal to fans what was I doing there. They were so worried and even asked me if I was Lana Del Ray the singer”- she chuckled. 

The star added how she was fully prepped in her getup and hundreds of fans flooded her social media with requests regarding what she happened to be doing there. 

The leading Summertime Sadness star says the viral moment was worth a mention because this place was so close to her heart. They were regular customers and they felt the time had come to give back.

After revealing that she was a regular client, the star says she and her siblings were offered shirts and nametags. And they even wanted to work. After getting approval, they began like it was no one’s business and couldn’t stop getting orders as people were so happy to meet the singer. 

“I love getting back to the basics and doing things I love”- she mentioned. In the same way, she called it the most humbling experience and we can totally relate as to why.
