One woman is sharing her life’s struggles after being a 22-year-old female that’s stuck in an 8-year-old girl’s body.
Meet Shaun Rae- a single woman who claims life isn’t all fun and games sometimes. Facing struggles on a daily basis, this young woman is going public with the constant dilemma she faces, thanks to the way she looks to the world.
After struggling with a rare disease, Shauna says that she’s been left in a sticky mess after her body refuses to grow, making her stuck looking like an eight-year-old child for life.
Shauna shed light on how she developed the rare and serious form of brain cancer when she was only six months in age. For this reason, she was forced to undergo countless sessions of chemotherapy that may have stopped her cancer from spreading but ultimately drastically affected her growth as a whole.
Today, the 22-year-old stands at three-foot 10, which is equal to the normal height of an eight-year-old child.
While the reality is bitter, it’s a tough pill that this young woman has been forced to swallow, whether she likes it or not.
Appearing on the latest documentary for TLC, Shauna explained how so many of her life’s difficulties have to do with her unwanted youthful appearance.
This includes finding it so hard to date and even entering bars because so many individuals automatically assume she is just a child.
When she appeared on the documentary’s trailer, her heartbreaking comments really took an emotional toll on viewers who were super curious to know what her life’s journey was all about.
“If you were to take a look at me, you’d think that I am just a normal girl, doing normal little girl things with my fun and crazy family. However, the truth is far from just that as I’m a woman stuck in the body of an 8-year-old.”
